This is a three weeks program for international and domestic students. In this program each aspiring young leader either will be matched with an international young leader of appropriate age and gender or will be part of a class of local aspiring leaders. The groups will consist of 6 interns from the local community and 6 interns from foreign country.

The characteristics we are looking to enhance in our leaders are:

• Awareness of social responsibility and consideration of others
• Respect for others and opposing beliefs, as well as their own national and spiritual values
• Ability to take operational responsibilities
• General knowledge and a well mannered, noble personality

Program Structure: 1- Reading with interactive discussions:

The aim of this session is to cultivate aspiring leaders to be individuals who will: read and analyze; think authentically; express their feelings freely and comprehensively; develop superior comprehension faculties and proficiency in analysis; listen to opposing ideas actively with respect and appreciation; be able to understand and express themselves effectively; become careful readers; be eager to search and develop him/herself; and be able to speak influentially. As a gil for the participants, each student will be given “a critical thinkir reading book” prepared in accordance to their age.

In the book there is a blank page after each topic, usually consisting of some inspiring sentences or words of wisdom, and students are encouraged to reflect upon these and write their own thoughts and comments. They will also be sharing ideas, performing analyses and listening to different comments, with the assistance of experienced moderators leading classrooms of 10-to-12 students, all in face-to-face settings. This particular project will be realized through a 1.5-hour group session everyday throughout the camp duration.

After completing this part of the program young leaders will be able to:

2- Project Presentation:

In this section, leader trainees will be brainstorming about topics that require social responsibilities, and they will design ideas that can be realized, develop them into projects, and then prepare their presentation or demos. They will sometimes perform the role of presenter and sometimes that of the jury evaluating those projects. The purpose of these sessions is;

• Raising awareness about social issues and developing solutions to eradicate them
• Realizing their ideas by creating meaningful and effective projects
• Establishing persuasive and visually appealing presentation style

3- Travel

The leader trainees will participate in a multitude of activities during their travelling experience. This travelling will not be of touristic character only, but will have specific goals and objectives. The program will consist of visiting historical and cultural monuments, attending lectures by highly successful individuals, and fun activities. This will provide the trainees with a unique learning experience where they will hear the success stories of renowned businessmen, scientists and sportsmen, travel a lot and enjoy themselves. Every student will be responsible to keep a diary of their experiences and memories during this program.

The purpose of this session is to enhance the trainees as individuals who will:

• Acquire ability to analytically think about individuals, societies and events
• Develop skills to formulate a goal, pursue it with perseverance until successful
• Understanding and analyzing current and historical phenomena and connection between them

4- Activities

Being involved in a game is one of the best ways to discover and train leaders, cultívate teamwork and trigger the ambition for success. These activities will inelude competitions and tournaments, simultaneously both entertaining and educating, which will be held on specific dates and times. In this platform, young leaders will perform their skills and talents individually and in groups.

Young leaders will have the opportunity to present cultural heritage, cuisine, perform traditional dances, theatrical sketches, and prepare other programs and parties. They will have a “culture night” where they will have a chance to showcase their best skills and talents individually as well as in groups. Through participating in these activities young leaders will:

• Improve ability to work effectively in a team
• Improve organizational and leadership skills
• Practically comprehend the universal values by applying them in interactions with different individuals and groups
• Improve self confidence and enhance social skills in a positive and honorable manner
